Groups and Events Sales Manager
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Groups & Events Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team and lead the commercial development of groups and events at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.
We are looking for a commercially driven and organised professional with experience in luxury hospitality, strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop business opportunities while ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of confirmed events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Manage group and event enquiries from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, contracting and confirmation.
Develop new business with MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners, corporate clients and luxury travel partners.
Prepare tailored proposals, follow up on opportunities and lead site inspections and client meetings.
Promote the hotel’s accommodation, F&B offering, event spaces and additional experiences.
Work closely with Revenue Management and F&B to ensure competitive pricing, availability and profitability.
EVENT COORDINATION & TEAM MANAGEMENT
Oversee the planning and delivery of confirmed groups and events, ensuring smooth coordination with hotel operations.
Supervise and support the Groups & Events Coordinator, maintaining ownership of the commercial relationship with clients.
Coordinate with F&B, Reservations, Front Office, Finance and other relevant departments.
Handle event planning and client requests when required, particularly outside the Coordinator’s seasonal contract.
Manage last-minute changes, client requests and operational issues while protecting service standards and profitability.
COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
Manage the groups and events sales pipeline, revenue targets and conversion performance.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, proposals, forecasts and confirmed bookings.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve business conversion.
Contribute to the annual sales strategy, budget and reporting for groups and events.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Proven experience in group and event sales, preferably within luxury or upscale hospitality. Senior Sales Executive profiles with relevant experience will also be considered.
Skills: Strong negotiation, commercial judgement and client relationship management skills.
Operational Knowledge: Good understanding of hotel operations, events, banqueting and F&B.
Languages: Fluent English. Spanish is highly desirable; additional languages are an advantage.
Other: Organised, self-sufficient and comfortable working hands-on within a small team.
